80 kilometers from Bordeaux on the Médoc Peninsula, the resort of Vendays-Montalivet is a privileged site with 12 kilometers of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, 6000 hectares of forests, 40 kilometers of hiking trails and 30 kilometers of bicycle paths.

The camping car stopover area is located near the south beach of Montalivet, on the edge of the dune.
