Boucle de Cabanac

Departing from the old railway station in Cabanac-et-Villagrains, this hike invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of nature. The route takes in shady lanes, then quiet paths, in the heart of a wooded country setting. It's a peaceful stroll, ideal for getting some fresh air and enjoying the calm, green surroundings.

The Cabanac loop offers two itineraries: a long loop of around 11 km and a short loop of around 7 km. The map, available as a free download, clearly distinguishes the two variants. The GPX file corresponds to the long loop. To hike the smaller loop, simply follow the "Petite boucle" signs on the ground and refer to the map for the correct junctions. A simple, well-marked hike accessible to all.
