Boucle des Marais de Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne

Following the marsh of Vertheuil, where the castle and the roofs of the abbey of Vertheuil can be seen in the distance, the walker reaches the town of Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, surrounded by its wine castles

From there, the path through the vineyards offers breathtaking views of the estuary and joins the palus, where a path on the dyke punctuated with "carrelets" (small wooden huts) leads you to the port of La Maréchale.
