Tour de Gironde à vélo : étape 2 - Créon / Sauveterre-de-Guyenne
The adventure continues on the Roger Lapébie cycle path, a former railroad line where you can enjoy the old stations, now transformed into unusual places. But don't worry! You're not in the middle of a hallucination: there are plenty of old wagons on your route. And a railway tunnel too! So many surprises to punctuate the rolling panoramas of the Entre-deux-Mers vineyards.
Don't miss the Abbey of La Sauve-Majeure and the Church of St. Peter, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site on the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela. As you can imagine, you can enjoy a wine tasting in a "guinguette" or a "maison des vins", take your breath away in exceptional sites, and finish in style in the bastide town of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. You'll have never seen so much proof that pedaling is good for you!
