L'Escale de Bel Air

The Escale de Bel Air is located in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg appellation on a plateau overlooking the Gironde estuary. You will find a very calm, warm, and relaxing atmosphere here in a 19th century house with plenty of character. The rooms are comfortable and attractively decorated. A delicious breakfast is served on the terrace, weather permitting. Large tree-shaded grounds and a swimming pool also await you. This is an ideal base from which to discover the remarkable historic citadels of Bourg and Blaye (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is also near Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. A ferry leaving from Blaye crosses the estuary to take visitors to the Médoc wine road, the Atlantic beaches, and Arcachon Bay.
