La Falaise

Nestled on the heights of a limestone hillside typical of the right bank of the Gironde estuary, our gîte is located in Gauriac, a small village between Bourg sur Gironde and Blaye and its famous citadel. Surrounded by terraced gardens, it offers a peaceful change of scenery, with superb views over the estuary, its islands and the Médoc. The first floor comprises a fully-equipped kitchen, an adjoining utility room, a bright living room with dining area and two troglodyte rooms dug into the blonde rock, a real asset of the site, to keep you cool in summer. The first floor features a large bedroom (bed 160x200cm), and an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet. There are two terraces, one with a barbecue, and several garden areas. Access to the gîte on foot via a path and communal stairs.
