📍 Moulis-en-Médoc
LE MOULIN DE TIQUETORTE
Moulis takes its name from the many windmills and watermills that crushed rye in the area.
The Moulin de Tiquetorte, perched on the jalle that gives it its name, was built in the 12th century. The winding course of the river inspired its Gascon name.
In 2024, Château Chasse-Spleen carried out a complete renovation to the highest standards. We offer it as a self-catering cottage for a stay in the summer coolness of the rainforests, another facet of the Médoc that is often overlooked in the same way as the gravelly hilltops for which it is famous.
Sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
