La Forêt d'Art Contemporain : Une Rencontre. La Métis, le Même et l'Autre, oeuvre n°13
A meeting. The half-breed, the same and the other. Bruno Peinado. Bourideys, 2014. Programmation : Didier Arnaudet. This figure of the Trojan Horse is presented here as a playful and stimulating infiltration into the landscape, opening a back door to an imaginary world of multiple and unpredictable proposals. A pretext for very diverse meanings, the horse has the particularity of being associated with water. On this lake, Bruno Peinado charges it with his magical gifts, and gives it a pixelated form that evokes this method of camouflage based on optical illusion created by a multiplication of facets. The bright yellow colour reinforces this ability to designate a presence offered, without ever closing itself off, to a wide variety of interpretations and resources. It's up to each one to experience the mètis of the Greeks, which combines the intelligence of cunning and the right measure.
