Musée Hoa ! Histoires Originales et Archéologie
Between 1958 and 1992, Abbé Hoarau tirelessly excavated every nook and cranny of his parish, taking budding archaeologists with him. He collected lithics, shards, bones, pebbles... which he patiently labeled and exhibited in the first museum he opened in 1967 above the Blasimon town hall. This collection serves as the basis for an original discovery of Entre-deux-Mers, a land of abbeys, mills, bastides and vineyards. Modernized, enriched and housed in the village chapel, the new Musée de Blasimon transforms visitors into modern-day archaeologists, with games, activities, educational workshops and unique discoveries.
