Domaine Chavat

The castle and the park overhanging the Garonne river were erected in 1917 by the industrialist François Thévenot. There are many trees planted in the park : cedars, sequoias, magnolias... and got a lot of remarkable statues. The Parc Chavat was left to the city council and became in 1999 the local park ; then it has been listed as Historical Monument in 2006.
