📍 Mérignac
Parc de Bourran
Created by Le Breton in 1884, the 18-hectare park of Château Bourran became a public garden rehabilitated by the department (listed site)
There is a lake dotted with islands, exotic species, a romantic bridge, a rock cave and you can see a whole collection of ornamental birds (water hens, barnacle geese, white and black swans, bar-headed geese, Egyptian geese, grey heron). An introductory trail will also allow young and old alike to learn about botany (topo-guide, thematic totem).
