Boat slip - 19th century - Stone.

This boat slipway bears witness to the important port activity that once marked the commune: wines were exported by barges sailing on the Dordogne River. In the mid-19th century, the slipway was reinforced and enlarged. A ferry was then used to cross the river, until the 1930s.
