Fontaine d'Arlac

A monumental fountain in Mérignac, the Fontaine d'Arlac has a natural and constant spring. Built at the end of the 18th century, this fountain could be the work of Peixotto, the owner of the Maison Carrée d'Arlac, or of the Jurade de Bordeaux. It may have served as a large reservoir for the water destined for Bordeaux.
