Le Moulin de Pinquet
Built in the 16th century, this water mill is emblematic of the many mills that dotted the Entre-deux-Mers region and remained in operation until the end of the 19th century. Abandoned during the 20th century, it is now in working order. The only water-powered mill in Gironde to produce demonstration flour, it is maintained by volunteers from the association "Les Amis du Moulin de Pinquet", and has won a prize in the "Les rubans du Patrimoine" competition.
Visit the mill and start up the mechanism, demonstrate the grinding of the wheat and the passage of the grist through the sieve to obtain the flour. Open to the public on Mill Days (May) and Heritage Days.
