In Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse, the Château Bernateau is a 20 hectares vineyard in the heart of Saint-Émilion terroir. Family-run estate for 8 generations, the Lavau family produces organic wines since 2012, 5 minutes away from the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, in a UNESCO World Heritage classified landscapes. Our vat cellar renovated in 2016, with new wooden vats, allowing a wine-making using the natural gravity, which respects more the grapes, is an example of our constant search for improvment of the quality of our products. In the respect of the environment, the Chateau Bernateau expresses in each vintage all the fineness, the elegance and the strength of the terroir.
