Château du Puy Faure

Pauline and Anne-Laure take over the family estate, the 5th generation of winegrowers in the Charpentier family at Puy Faure.

We produce Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur wines, red and rosé, as well as sparkling grape juice, pet?nat (natural sparkling wine), vinegar and honey!

Our aim is to convert the entire estate to agroforestry, recreating an ecosystem by planting local trees, as well as honey trees, in order to preserve the rich nature of our terroir.

Our hives produce a typical Haute Gironde honey made from acacia, lime and field flowers. The bees stay in the apiary all year round, and the trees we are currently planting enable them to supplement their nectar and pollen supply throughout the season.
