Château Eyquem

Prestigious house of the XVIIth century, Château Eyquem used to be Louis d'Eyquem's second house, member of Michel Eyquem de Montaigne's family, famous philosopher.

At the confluence of the Dordogne and the Garonne, Château Eyquem faces the Gironde estuary and offers an incredible point of view over the rivers. Its soil benefits from a microclimate due to the closeness of the two rivers.

During the XXth century, the owners enlarged the vineyard and completely restored the winery. Sustainability is playing a key role in their wine industry.
