Château Kirwan
In the gentle tranquility of the banks of the Garonne, let your gaze glide over the centuries-old rows of vines of Château Kirwan... If the first owner, an Irishman from Galway, Marc Kirwan, gave his name to the estate in 1775, it was his children who built the elegant, classical-style building that is still admired today. In 1925, the estate became the property of the Schÿler family, who inscribed the château in their long and prestigious wine tradition. We are in the territory of flavour, in the unique cradle of a 3rd Grand Cru Classé in the Margaux appellation: a soil with a perfect profile, made up of thousand-year-old gravel, allows the development of this exceptional terroir. To go and meet this precious know-how, during a tasting visit, a lunch or a personalized animation, is to apprehend a part of this fabulous history..
