Château Lamothe Guignard

The estate is located on one of the highest points of the town of Sauternes.

Known in 1814 under the name of Lamothe Assault, overlooking the valley of the Ciron. A destiny that had tormented property passed through many hands and was divided into several pieces. The largest part (20 ha) was acquired in 1981 by Jacques Philippe & Guignard.

Château Lamothe Guignard is ranked Second Cru Classé 1855.
