Château Léoville Poyferré

Château Léoville Poyferré is located in Saint-Julien, in the heart of the Médoc, 45 km northwest of Bordeaux.

The estate dates back to 1638. At the time of the French Revolution, Léoville was the largest wine estate in the Médoc. Following various divisions and inheritances, Léoville Poyferré was created in 1840. Fifteen years later, the château was awarded the title of Second Grand Cru Classé in the famous 1855 classification.

The doors of Château Léoville Poyferré are open to wine tourism.
