Château Sigalas Rabaud

Château Sigalas Rabaud is the smallest estate of the 1855’s “1er Grands Crus”, with 14 hectares in one piece of homogeneous soil.

At the heart of this land, you will find the Charterhouse (situated at less than 500 meters from the Château d'Yquem), surrounded by the storehouse and outbuildings.

The vineyard is well exposed to the wind, which dry grapes affected by Botrytis cinerea (also known as noble rot).

All the conditions are met to achieve excellence...

For any technical visits and private wine tasting with the owners (group from 4 to 10 persons), please take an appointment before.

How to get there

From Exit 2 Cadillac, pass the Illats village church. At the goose-paste exit from Illats, follow signs for Pujols- sur-Ciron. Once in Pujols, follow signs for Sauternes, on the E 116 Bis, pass the crossroads. Sigalas is on the left 350 m after this crossroads.
From exit 3 Langon, at the traffic circle take the last exit in the direction of Villandraut, at the next 2 traffic circles do the same, then follow the D8, at the stop sign follow the D116E1 to Sigalas on the right.
