Domaine de Merlet

The Domaine de Merlet, situated in the heart of the Pessac-Leognan appellation, is a family property for 5 generations of 4 hectares, planted with 30% Merlot and 70% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are cultivated on light and filtering gravels. The Domaine produces essentially red wine but also rosé. The Domaine practices sustainable agriculture. We do not use any herbicide, we prioritize the integral work of soils. It is in the respect of the environment that our grape varieties are grown. The grape harvest is manual so as not to deteriorate the site and offer high quality wines, resulting from a traditional method and ancestral know-how.
