Vignobles Mouty

In the heart of the Libournais region, just a few kilometers from Saint-Emilion, Sainte-Terre is the capital of Bordeaux-style lamprey. A land of vineyards, you'll also find the Vignobles Mouty tasting room. Over the course of the 20th century, marriages and acquisitions have meant that today the Mouty family owns five Châteaux in the Saint-Emilion and Pomerol appellations.

At the side of the road, a long, classical-style stone building awaits you. Push open the glass door onto an elegant staircase and the visit can begin. Enter the cellar where, depending on the Cru, the wine is housed in temperature-controlled vats, aged in new barrels or in two-year-old oak barrels. Then enjoy the wines of the range in the tasting room. If you wish, you can then visit the vineyards of one of Vignobles Mouty's Châteaux.
