The former lignite quarries of Hostens now form a natural area of 600 ha of lakes and forest. Property of the Departmental Council of the Gironde, this area is designed for the discovery of the environment and the practice of outdoor recreation

Fishing, supervised swimming at the Lamothe lake, water sports base (canoeing, kayaking, pedal boats), mountain biking - 3 marked circuits, marked footpaths from the base, orienteering, archery, climbing, stand up paddle, minigolf, tennis. Some of these activities are proposed with an accompaniment.
