Concert ONA MAE

Launched in 2021, Ona Mae is an invitation to a dreamlike journey connecting Ibero-Latin culture with that of West Africa. Created by Barcelona-based artist and anthropologist Mariona Villadelprat, the project celebrates openness, cultural fusion, and rebirth through femininity. The mystical sounds of the kamélénégoni (Manding harp) and other traditional instruments, such as the kass-kass and the pandero cuadrado de Peñaparda, blend with synth%E vintage synths and electronic textures, blending modernity and tradition into music that is radiant and full of meaning.
