Concert Requiem à 8 voix : Vox Cantoris

Based on a discovery in Mexico, this project restores the Office of the Dead and the 8-voice Requiem by SebastiánE1n López de Velasco, based on the 1628 Madrid editions preserved at the National Library of Spain. Vox Cantoris breathes new life into a major work of early Iberian Baroque, characterized by refined polyphonic choral writing, one of the forgotten masterpieces of Spanish sacred music.
