Choreographer Martin Harriague conjures up Prometheus, the man who stole fire from the gods to give it to mankind.

Looking beyond the myth, the piece questions what it means to "steal fire" today: to transmit knowledge, life and love in a world riven by power relationships. Enriched by a contemporary creation by Fabien Cali, dance becomes music in a work that is at once mythical, choreographic and musical.

Martin Harriague has performed works by leading figures on the international choreographic scene, while simultaneously developing his own choreographic style. He will take over as director of CCN Biarritz in January 2027.
