Exposition : 90 ans des bacs girondins

The Médoc-Vignoble tourist office informs you :

The exhibition retraces the history of estuary crossings between Blaye and Lamarque and between Le Verdon-sur-Mer and Royan. It features model boats, a sound montage entitled "Les marins de l'estuaire" ("Sailors of the estuary") by Laure Carrier of Compagnie Translation, and the history of the Compagnie des bacs.

Organized by the Association des Phares de Cordouan et de Grave in collaboration with the Département, the exhibition pays tribute to 90 years of service by the Gironde ferries, which cross the Gironde estuary.

Guided tours will be offered on June 12 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, and on June 30 from 1:30pm to 4pm.
