L’Aquitaine ensorcelée : Une soirée au Château Loubens-propriété de Pierre de Lancre le célèbre « chasseur de sorcières »

On Friday June 19, Château Loubens, in Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, will host an exceptional evening to mark the publication of L?Aquitaine ensorcelée. Sorcières et sorciers du XIVe au XIXe siècle, by François Bordes, published in the Figures collection by Éditions Memoring in partnership with the Société de Borda.

18 h ? 7 pm: Guided tour of Château Loubens

Historian and guide David Souny introduces visitors to this remarkable medieval stronghold, its impressive cliff of fossilized oysters, and the chapels and cellars dug into the rock by its successive owners.

7:30 - 8:30 pm: Lecture

François Bordes presents his book L?Aquitaine ensorcelée and looks back at the great witchcraft cases.

From 8:30 pm: Tasting of the estate?s sweet wines and signing session with the author
