Kap-Kap, meaning "thrill" in Creole, is the strength and gentleness of raw maloya singing, sometimes mourned, sometimes danced, accompanied by bob or percussion, sometimes taking on the allure of a dust ball, when the accordion joins the party, to kraze a ti séga lontan. The vibrant encounter between Charlotte Espieussas, Mary Baré and David Doris resonates with the powerful poetry of traditional song, and sows its seeds with its own compositions.
With support from PNR des Landes de Gascogne. In collaboration with Cercle Ouvrier.
