Meet at the gemmage site. Gilbert Bouic, accompanied by a few members of Les Amis du Patrimoine, will introduce you in Gascon to the gemmage trade. You'll learn about gemmage in the Ciron valley, the practices of the trade and the evolution of harvesting techniques over the centuries, the history of the Hugues pot, the know-how and life of the tenant farmer in the forest?

Please note: for those who wish, there is the possibility of continuing this gemmage discovery with a meal at 12:30 pm at the La ferme des Filles restaurant in Captieux (20, reservation required from Pôle ressources Lou Vesin).
