Behind the façade of a small Carthusian monastery in the bastide town of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne lies an unsuspected garden. Structured along a main axis, it's as you make your way towards the back, terrace after terrace, that you discover numerous small gardens and as many connections between them. Topiaries and hedges are softened by the abundance of pastel grasses and perennials.
