Rik'm - Les horizons retrouvés

Landscapes and monuments are victims of the wear and tear of time. They evolve, become ruins, are rebuilt, urbanized, desertified? In each era, the same place presents a different reality.

Rik?m?s paintings seek out horizons hidden in his memory and freeze them in time. They are immobilized on a support at a given moment, but they are timeless and devoid of any indications that might orientate the visitor.

For freedom is at the heart of the exhibition: each visitor is free to see what he or she wishes in each painting, to dream, think and interpret without constraint.
