Château Chasse-Spleen

Château Chasse-Spleen is a prestigious winery in the Bordeaux vineyard, classified in 1932 as an Exceptional Grand Cru in the smallest appellation in the Médoc : Moulis-en Médoc

The property is spreading over 103 hectares in red and 4 hectares in white.

Long owners, the Gressier sold it in 1912 to a German family who made it a well-known brand in Nothern Europe. The war dispossessed them and a family of Landes foresters bought it.

In 1976, Chasse-Spleen was sold to Jacques Merlaut, a well-known wholesaler. In 2000, he entrusted one of his grand daughters : Céline Villars.

The aromatic expressions of the wines are expressed by silky tannins and great elegance.
