Boulangerie Darmusier
In the heart of the village of Margaux, Manuela and Stéphane Darmusier have opened an artisan bakery with a resolutely family spirit.
Having lived in the village for a number of years, they decided to create a friendly, authentic, local bakery. Trained in the trade from an early age, Stéphane perpetuates a demanding artisan know-how: here, breads are made without additives, on sourdough, with organic French wheat flours.
The store offers a wide choice of breads (wholemeal, rye, cereal, spelt, country, corn, traditional baguette, etc.), as well as viennoiseries, brioches, cakes and home-made pastries. A small tearoom area is also available for a gourmet break.
The establishment also carries the Sud Ouest newspaper, reinforcing its role as a local shop at the heart of local life.
